God’s Word is clear: Teach His children His Word.

"I will open my mouth with a parable; I will utter hidden things, things from of old - things we have heard and known, things our ancestors have told us.  We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done.  He decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which he commanded our ancestors to teach their children, so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children.  Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands."
Psalm 78:2-7

At Grace Bible Fellowship Church, we take our ministry to children very seriously. We take this command to heart. Thus, while our children’s ministry is lots of fun—our overarching goal is to ensure that our children have learned the Word of God from cover to cover. We do this by coming alongside of parents and offering excellent classroom instruction administered by loving, trained teachers who are committed to seeing the children grow in their knowledge and obedience to the Lord. We are excited about how God will use the teaching of His Word to strengthen the faith of His children!

Not overly formal, stuffy or restrictive, all of our children’s ministries seek to combine biblical truths, discussion and activities. We seek to encourage and challenge children to live out their walk with Jesus Christ. Our overall ministry structure follows an age-appropriate progression of development where children learn basic Bible information at a younger age which is later built upon as they grow up and finally assembled into complex thoughts and understanding about the Lord as they enter into their teen years. We believe this format establishes a foundational grid by which children and youth can interact with life and ultimately provide them the mental and spiritual resources to answer our world’s most complex challenges.

For the service

If you are a parent and coming with children—please remember that all children are dismissed from the worship service.  Parents are to sign in their children to their respective classes before returning to the service.  If you desire to keep your children with you for the service, please do so for the entire time to minimize the disturbance to the children’s classes and the rest of the service when you leave and return. Please remember the teaching in the sanctuary is for adults. Topics are directed towards adults and not necessarily children. It is the responsibility of the parent to prevent children from disturbing the church service.

Parents, please sign out your children prior to socializing so our volunteers can join you in fellowship.

Please note: The Sunday School rooms are not after church play areas. Children are to remain under their parent’s supervision in the sanctuary/fellowship area.
